The King County Fair is the oldest fair west of the Mississippi. This year we celebrate the 155th year for running of the fair.
Did you know that Abraham Lincoln was President, and the Battle of Gettysburg was taking place the same year the Fair opened?
Originally held in Georgetown, the Fair was moved to Renton prior to coming home to Enumclaw.
Three of the main Fair buildings were actually used and moved here from the 1962 World's Fair held in Seattle.
The non-profit Enumclaw EXPO Center & Events Association took over the operation of the Fair in 2015.
We offer this commemorative pin as a keepsake and a way to show support for our fair goers and friends of the fair
The Enumclaw EXPO and Events Center is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization who is trying to bring the fair back to it's original glory and enjoyment for ALL. Our goal is to revive this legacy in King County. We offer the grounds for many community uses other than the Annual County Fair. Clean-Up Drives, Music Festivals, Scottish Highland Games, Annual Wine & Chocolate Festival, craft festivals, horse shows, dog shows, cat shows, and weddings ... just to name a few of the events which are staged on the grounds. We even offer a short-term RV Park.
This commemorative pin not only shows your support for the Fair, but has it's advantages. Wear your KCF pin to the Fair and receive $3 off the price of admission each day you attend. This purchase is also tax deductable, since we are non-profit. (Our Tax ID# 47-3633069)
Your generous $10 donation for the price of the pin, helps the EXPO Center to continue to produce, promote and execute services and events to keep these facilities open for the community year-around.
